Happy Thanksgiving week pretty mamas.
Sadly, we have no awkward and embarrassing vlog for your viewing pleasure this week.
We figured we should up the serious factor and share some of the things we are thankful for.
Both of us are big advocates for counting our blessings and expressing our thankfulness and gratitude all year long, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love Thanksgiving. A time where families and friends come together to share life around a table. Laughter and shared memories, turkey and pie, parades and football. Whatever your traditions, we hope that you share them with the people that you love.
And in the spirit of the Holiday we wanted to take some time to share a little bit of our hearts and take the time to share some things we are thankful for.
So, I, Michelle, will kick us off and get us started…..
The Husband. He kind of has the smolder thing down. Or maybe it’s the my wife is annoying with all her picture taking. Either way, I am most thankful for this man every day. For his love and support. For working is bootay off in school and at work…and still coming home and loving on me and the kiddos and making us feel like we are a priority. Thankful he chose me to share life with. It’s a bit rough these days, but I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else by my side.
These crazies. Seriously it still completely blows me away that these four beautiful kiddos are mine. They are crazy and trying to keep up with them is near impossible, but there is no other way I would rather spend my time. So thankful God entrusted them to me and chose me to be their mama. They are my greatest joy.
And while I don’t have a picture, I am so very very thankful for both of our families and all of our friends that have been our support system these last several months. We still have a long road of PA school ahead of us, the most challenging parts are still left to come, but with our little “village” it makes it all that more bearable.
After all that sweetness I feel like I (Channing) should just say, “yeah what she said,” but that would be really awkward considering my husband is not in PA school and I only have 3 children not 4. So here it goes, what I am thankful for….
This guy right here. I am thankful that as of this Wednesday this good lookin fella has stuck with me for four years of this crazy thing called marriage. He took on 2 of us girls at once the day we said our “I dos,” and since then we have had a crazy ride. We have moved, had 2 more babies, had job changes, illnesses and everything else life can throw at you. But, through it all he has remained steady. He is everything I prayed for and I could not be more grateful that God created him for me. He is definitely one of a kind!
My girls. These girls have turned my life upside down and side ways. I look at these beauties and sometimes wonder how God felt it appropriate to entrust them to me. I never knew my heart could be so full. I never expected to have a house full of giggling, dramatic, sweet little girls but I would not have it any other way.
Our friends and family. I may be biased but I think we have the absolute best friends and family around. I am so thankful for so many people that love us and invest into our family. From parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, coaches, babsitters, teachers etc. they are each a blessing to our family and we thank God for what a blessing they are.
And last but not least, Michelle and I are thankful for YOU! Thank you for supporting Moms Without Answers. Thank you for actually reading and watching all of our shenanigans. Thank you for helping us create this community. Thank you for supporting us, laughing at us and taking a piece out of your day to spend with us.
We hope and pray that like us you get to spend your Thanksgiving with those you love!
Happy Thanksgiving Mommas!
