Hi, my name is Michelle and it has been 27 minutes since my last pin.
Now everyone is unison, “Hi Michelle”.
I feel with some certainty that I am not the only Pinterest addict among us. I can’t be.
I love Pinterest and everything it has to offer.
It has been the source of many fabulous meals for our not so little family as well as some fabulous home decor like my recent DIY Faux Pallet Wall Art.
One thing that drives me absolutely nuts though is when I set out to make “the best ever” blah blah blah, and spend the time in the kitchen cooking and it turns out to be a F-L-O-P! Then I have wasted food. I have hungry kiddos and a hungry husband. Nobody wins.
And becuase I want to save you the time and the aggravation, I present to you ….
A hopeful series where we can share with you some of our Pins that we know 100% are keepers becuase we have tested them out ourselves. We won’t claim it to be great unless we have tried it in our home and we know it works. Sounds pretty good huh?
This time it’s going to be all about the food!

In the words of Rachel Zoe, I DIE. This stuff was so. stinkin. good. Seriously. It was a breeze to make, was a total hit with the hubs, and it reheated so nicely that we had leftovers for lunch for a good 2-3 days. HIGHLY recommend you give this one a try.

For whatever reason, I lost my mind on Easter Sunday and gave this new recipe a go. We were having Easter lunch with our Bible Study, and I said I would bring a dessert. I chose it becuase it said it was best to make the night before which is a total win for this mama. I decided to hope for the best, and y’all it was a home run! It was gobbled up with the request for the recipe. Another super simple dish to put in my rotation.

Yum. Just looking at the picture reminds me of how tasty this was. This was a no brainer for me since we usually have all ingredients on hand. In fact it was during nap one day that I was browsing through pins and stumbled across this cheesy goodness and knew I had everything in my fridge to complete the meal. The husband, who usually prefers meat of some kind with his meal even have it two thumbs up.

I will admit, this one was for the husband who is all about the Taco Pizza at a local Pizzeria. I saw it and decided to give it a try, not really thinking I would like it all that much. It was easy, inexpensive to make and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. We weren’t sure how it would do reheated, so we just scarfed it all down that night.
Hopefully it is helpful knowing that while meal planning you can try out a couple mom approved recipes that won’t waste your money or your time.
Now that I have shared some keepers with you, I would love for you to leave some of your go to Pinterest recipes in the comments so that you can help me create my next Meal Plan.
