This weekend my husband and I will be celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary. It seems like it was just yesterday and yet, at the same time, it also seems like a whole lifetime ago. In the last 7 years we have grown and overcome more than I could ever type in one blog post. Babies, School, Job changes. Simply put, we like to keep things interesting. There was a point in time in our marriage, back at a little past the 2 year mark, that I would have told you we would never have seen this day. 2 years into our marriage I was still caught up in my idea of what I thought a marriage should look like, instead of ... Don’t Be a Backseat Driver
Hello there! I am so excited to be hanging out at Moms Without Answers today. I’m Ally and you can usually find me at You Are More Blog. I’ll be talking about faith and motherhood here on MWOA which I am super excited about. My hubby and I lead Children's Ministry at a local church and have two babies of our own, Jase, who is two, and Elyse, who will be one at the end of this month. I absolutely love this community of ladies and am super excited about making some new friends! Jase has become quite the backseat driver lately. That something you try to hide, hoping others don't see. Giving grace when it's hard. Grace. The exercise of love, kindness, mercy and favor. Grace is undeserved, unmerited and unearned. You see, I have been stuck in this place where I have been expecting grace from others. Grace for things I am working on. ... READ MORE >>
Cure the Stay at Home Mom Burnout
First things first - hey y'all! I'm Sara and I'm so excited to be here. Like, SO FREAKING EXCITED. Sorry. Trying not to yell. Anyway, I'm here from Sara Dear, a blog about real life homemaking. I'm going to be talking about Stay-at-Home-Mom-ing here on MWOA and will probably say the word awesome more than one person is allowed. I'm happy to be here, I'm so happy you're here, and I'm happy we're here together to build a better mom community, one awesome post at a time. Now let's get on with it. Can we just get real for a sec? Like, really real? I've been a little burnt out. Okay, a lot burnt out. Let me preface this with the obvious - I ... READ MORE >>
