Expectation (noun): A belief that someone should or will achieve something As a mom, so many days I wake up with great expectations. MWOA Weekend In The Woodlands
This past weekend we had the awesome, amazing and super fun opportunity to take our families to The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center! To say that we had a blast is a complete understatement. How fun is it that we have this family friendly getaway spot so close to home? This was such a great way to spend our Father's Day Weekend with our families. Well, I went shopping last weekend....for a bathing suit. I have not purchased a new bathing suit in over 3 1/2 years. Yep, 3 1/2 years ago when I was pregnant and I have been wearing the same get up ever since. My shopping trip was amazing, amazingly horrific. 10 Favorite Children’s Books
Summer is in full swing, and one of our favorite summer activities {and really all year round} is visiting our local library. It is free indoor fun {hello air conditioning} and my kids love going. We love story hour and and the children's area, and we love finding new books to read. We have our staples like Brown Bear, Brown Bear and anything from the Pete The Cat or If You Give A Mouse a Cookie series, but we are always on the hunt for new books. Summer Recipe: Zuchini Lasagna
We have always watched what we eat around here but lately things have gotten out-of-control! You know right before summer when we get to prance around in our bathing suits and show off all of our jiggly parts. Perfect timing right? NOT!
