**Thank you to Nestle Toll House DelightFulls for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try the new DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels!
Hello lovlies, do we have a treat for you today. Emphasis on the treat!
If any of you know me in real life, you will know that I am not a baker. By any means.
I love to cook, but baking has never really been my thing. BUT, the lovely folks at Nestle Toll House have brought out a game changer that helps even the beginning bakers like myself create fun and flavorful recipes that will be gobbled up by kiddos and grown ups too.
Allow me to introduce to you Nestle DelightFulls…..
DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels bring you delicious and exciting ways to bake! The innovative technology provides the same great Nestle Toll House Chocolate you know and love, now filled with 4 delicious flavors. Slightly larger than a regular morsel, they allow the newbie bakers like me to put a special twist on traditional recipes like a cookie or a brownie, or open up a variety of new fun recipes to try.
Since it was a rainy Sunday here in Houston, Megan and I snagged some of the Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter DelightFulls {her choice} and spent the afternoon making memories in the kitchen.
Now we chose to take our treats up a notch….again, all Megan’s idea. And it was a good one…
We took our cookies….
And paired it with some delicious ice cream….
And the result, well the result was something magical….
And for the record, YES it is as good as it looks.
And the best part is you can either eat the cookies by themselves….because they were AMAZING. Or like Megan, you can pair it with some ice cream and have yourself a DelightFull ice cream sandwich. Like what I did there?!
Want to know how we made these tasty treats? No problem. Unlike Joey, we share food.
Or at least the recipes.
Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 stick butter (softened)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/2 cups Nestle Toll House Delightfulls
In a medium bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in oats and Nestle Delightfulls. Cover, and chill dough for at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 350. Roll dough into small balls and set 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
You can then add ice cream and make your cookies into sandwiches or just gobble them up as they are. Both are completely acceptable. The best part about this recipe is there are so many ways to change it up. Change the DelightFulls for a complete change up of flavors. Try out Milk Chocolate Morsels with Caramel Filling, Dark Chocolate Morsels with Mint Filling and Dark Chocolate Morsels with Cherry Flavored Filling.
What flavor morsel are you excited to try?
