I may be the only one, but I have a hard time feeding my kiddos.
Not the actually providing them food {no need to alert the authorities}, but getting them to eat what they are given without tantrums and tears.
We have tried all kinds of methods to fix this, and we have seen several improvements, but we still have a ways to go.
All this to say, I thought I would take some time to share some favorites that have helped me along this journey in the hopes that perhaps they can help another mama out.
FAVORITE TODDLER MEAL INSPIRATIONS
3 Ladies and Their Gent is one of my favorites. Amber is a fellow twin mama and dietician with awesome toddler meal and snack ideas. Start with THIS amazing post and then check out the tab on her blog called “We Eat”. It is my weekly go to for inspiration and I can always trust that the meals with be not only delicious, but easy and healthy too.
Weelicious is another one of my faves. While some of her meals include things we don’t keep as staples in our house, it is fun to think outside the {bento} box some times. I follow along on her Instagram account and love checking out all her school lunches for her kiddos.
Eats Amazing is another fave of mine. Grace’s meals are super detailed and fun, and while they are more time consuming for me the mama, I have found them to be the most rewarding for my kiddos. Her alphabet series is so fun and helping Megan get excited about her letters, which has always been another challenge.
FAVORITE TODDLER MEAL TOOLS
Pottery Barn Spencer Bento Box Containers – Our Matee spoiled us and purchased one of these for each of my kiddos and they have been amazing. I got to test drive them out during VBS and it was nice becuase the kids had options (that I of course chose) and it was all right there at their fingertips. I am so excited to have these for school lunches this upcoming year.
Pampered Chef Cut – N- Seal – This one has been a family must for several years. My girls are very picky when it comes to crust on their bread. This tool has been awesome and takes seconds to cut and seal a pb&j and I don’t have to worry about any smearing in their lunchboxes.
Fruit and Vegetable Cutters – I have quickly seen the results with these precious animal cutters. My kiddos are much more inclined to eat their fruits and veggies when they are shaped like penguins, dolphins and elephants.
These tool faves could keep us here all day with me gabbing away. Real quick, here are just a few more things that I am loving…

I want that Pottery Barn bento box! Kennedy is growing out of her little baby one. I also need to check out that first blog for food ideas. Why do toddlers have to be so darn picky sometimes?
