When I first found out I was expecting boys, I was in total shock. Don’t get me wrong, I was so excited (especially seeing my hubby beaming from ear to ear) but I was slightly panicked since I only knew girls and I was worried about the boys being a completely different animal.
Turns out, I WAS RIGHT. With a heavy emphasis on that animal part!
Holy moly are my boys the contributing factor to all my grey hair. How we have not ended up in the ER with a broken bone is beyond me.
I have quickly come to realize that I need to have bandaids and Neosporin on my person at ALL. TIMES. First aide kits are well and good but they rarely have what I actually need so I decided to make my own kit and I dubbed it….
THE BOOBOO BOX.
I snagged a plastic container for .97 while school supply shopping and then I gathered things from around my house that I knew we would need in our box when we are on the go.
I added the following items to our box:
Band aids
Neosporin
All purpose Wipes
Thermometer
Aleve
Gauze
Alcohol wipes
I also keep some chews in the box for Liam when his sugar drops too low.
I have a few more items I want to add to my box, but so far it has already saved the day on more than one occasion. I keep it tucked away in the ol’ minivan for when a booboo arises. Which with my boys is at least twice a week. We fall a lot. We are all boy.
Boy moms…any advice to help me survive these crazy active toddler days? I swear they have aged me a good 10 years with all their tumbles and falls.
