One more day until it’s summer vacation for this mama and her littles.
Our summer starts 2 weeks before the big girls and so the boys and I will be keeping busy around the house during that time. I have some projects I want to accomplish but also know I will need to keep the boys busy.
Our new favorite activity lately is making homemade slime. It is a mamas dream because it isn’t sticky or messy.
Did I mention the best part?? It is ridiculously EASY to make. We are talking 4 ingredients.
To make the slime you need the following: Glue, Water, Liquid Starch and Food Coloring of your choice.
The key to the slime recipe is equal parts. You can make any quantity you want, just keep the parts equal. I use 1/4 cup for each of my ingredients and it is always the perfect amount.
I start by mixing 1/4 cup of water
With a 1/4 a cup of glue
Add the color of your choice and mix well.
Once it’s mixed add the 1/4 cup of Liquid Starch
And that’s it.
Easy Peasy.
After that it’s time to get to playing.
I love this slime SO much more than play dough. It leaves no mess behind and the boys love stretching it and squishing it around.
Add this DIY to your summer activity arsenal. It will be a kiddo crowd pleaser guaranteed.
