So, it is no secret that my favorite form of social media is Instagram.
I love seeing snippets of peoples lives and their families throughout the day.
It’s way better than Facebook because I get the pictures without all the political rants and candy crush requests.
I figured that since we have several new mamas around these parts lately {Hello new friends}, I thought I would share a little more insight into the glamorous world that is my life.
It’s pretty glamorous, I am not gonna lie.
So the coffee is not a rare occurrence, but the time sure is. The twins wake up at 7 like clock work, but for whatever reason yesterday they were kind and let mama sleep until 8. It’s amazing what an extra hour can do for a girl. Well, an extra hour and coffee.
While the boys watch their morning “choo choo” aka Thomas The Train, I usually sit on the couch and catch up on emails. Or the Kardashians. Trash reality TV is my guilty pleasure and not having cable won’t stop me from this madness.
Laundry. Every day, All day.
The witching hour. Hour before nap, and an hour before bed. These tears were because I would not let him chew on the clean underwear I had just folded from the laundry. Mean Mom award goes to me.
Lunch time for mama. Taco Salad for the W-I-N!
Now, this is something rare, and I am so glad it got to be documented. The husband got out of class early {Yay} and he came home and insisted I get out of the house for some “me” time. Mama got herself a pedicure and it was glorious!
I text the husband to ask him if there is anything he needs from the grocery store and this is what he replies. Apparently being in school with 80 twenty three year old girls will do this to a guy. Starbies? Really?
Just like there is always laundry, there is never enough milk. I just don’t get it.
A quick trip to Old Navy, that was a big waste of time. Does anyone elses child insist on seeing the dog at the front of the store? Every stinkin’ time she needs to tell it Hi and wants her picture made with him. Every time.
Best time to get your car washed? Right after the giant thunder storm. Zero people waiting in line and mamas Vanborghini is all fresh and clean.
Tuesday nights my friend Katie and I take a photography class offered at her church. It has been fun to sneak away for a few hours of me time and to learn more about my camera.
Talking flashes and ambient lighting. So many cool gadgets. Not enough money.
Came home to an amazing dinner. Clearly the husband was trying to win brownie points after the whole Starbies comment.
And at 9pm it’s time for mama to unwind and prep for doing it all over again tomorrow. The Malibu makes the prepping more fun.
And there you have it ladies. Don’t let my glamorous lifestyle fool you, we can still totally be friends.
Seriously though, we should be friends.
