Birthday Wish List

Today is September 1 which means that in just 12 short days I will be celebrating my Birthday!

The big 3-3.

Is that even a thing? Probably not.

Getting older really isn’t that exciting when you are an adult. I shared my thoughts on getting older last year and imparted some of my “old lady” wisdom for all you youngsters. 

This year my birthday will be extra special (read not at ALL) as I will be having surgery next Wednesday. Ugh.

I will be ok, promise, but no exciting Birthday celebrations for me this year. And as an extra insult to injury, we will be broke as a joke thanks to this lovely unplanned procedure. Even though there won’t be any presents from the Hubby, I still needed to take my mind off it all and a girl can still dream so I still compiled a little Birthday Wish List. I do it every year. As you will see, when mama dreams….she dreams BIG.

1.) Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede –  I first got this scent for our anniversary back in March. I loved it so much I blew threw my bottle in no time. It is one of my all time favorite scents and I really miss having it in my collection.

2.) MAC Nordstrom Naturals Limited Edition Eye Shadow Palette – When Meg first shared this on her IG my heart skipped a beat. I have really gotten into all things makeup in the last year and eyeshadow is my weakness. I own zero MAC shadows and this palette is an absolute dream. This is high up on my makeup loving wish list.

3.) Henri Bendel Jettsetter Backpack – Yeah, I told you mama likes to dream big. I mean if it’s good enough for T-Swift it’s good enough for me! I saw this in one of Elly’s blog posts and fell in love. It would be an absolute dream bag when chasing twin toddlers.

4.) Skylar Earrings – I blame my co worker for getting me my first pair of Kendra earrings for last years birthday. It was love at first sight and then I was hooked. Then my girlfriends went in and got me earrings and a necklace and it was downhill from there. I have been eyeing these magenta beauties all summer and I really really want to make them mine.

5.) Canon EF 24-105mm Lens – I have really been loving learning about photography and my camera. I have for some time. My friend Faison who takes phenomenal photos recommended this lens to me and it has been on my Amazon Wish List ever since. It is for sure the priciest item on my list, but also the one I would get the most use from. One day it will be mine.

6.) Sephora GiftCard – You can just never go wrong. Mama likes her makeup and perfume and Sephora is my happy place.

7.) Bath & Body Works GiftCard – All the smell good things. A woman can never have too much Jesus and she can never have too many candles. In my humble opinion of course. Leaves, SweaterWeather, Black Tie….I need you in my life.

8.) Sienna Pendant Necklace – Kendra can do no wrong…..and this necklace will go with anything.

9.) Ulta GiftCard – Life is short. Wear more makeup. Duh.
